Midday Supervisor

The Governors of Heage Primary School are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our team of lunchtime staff.

Applicants should be able to work as part of a team and ideally have some experience of working with children.  Duties include assisting to serve lunch in the dining hall and supervising children whilst eating their lunch and whilst playing outside in the playground. Children need support, encouragement, and supervision with play activities. 

We need someone who is active, energetic, positive and enthusiastic to work with the Midday Supervisors to ensure they encourage the children to take part in lunchtime play activities and games, have fun and to ensure they make the most of their playtime whilst also ensuring their welfare and safety.  You must be an effective and positive communicator – with both children and adults.

Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
