Newhall Infant and Nursery School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide one to one support for a child with challenging behaviours and Autism.
You will support the child to control their emotions and to access learning wherever possible.
We are looking for someone who is resilient, calm under pressure, thinks on their feet and adapts well to changing situations. A positive and patient manner is essential.
Some experience with children with challenging behaviours and Autism would be an advantage. Knowledge of PDA would be a huge advantage! However, the right character is more important than experience!
