The Governors are seeking to appoint a hardworking, friendly and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our committed and supportive team. You need to enjoy a varied work pattern with a variety of duties.
Contributing to the learning and progress of students, you will take responsibility for helping children to catch up and achieve in their core curriculum areas including their next steps for learning and recording methodically and accurately the progress they make whilst working with you.
You must be able to take direction from a range of professionals but work on your own initiative as well. You need to be proactive towards classroom management and teaching and learning. Above all, you need to be able to engage and motivate children and strive for the best outcomes for all learners.
You will work with individuals but also take responsibilities for small groups to improve the outcomes for all learners within any of the year groups in Key Stage 1 or 2. Some work will be undertaken within the class and some in a different learning space.
Full and relevant level 2 qualification is essential and level 3 is desirable.
This is a one year fixed term post until the end of August 2024.
