We are seeking to appoint a caring and dedicated Breakfast Club Leader for our wraparound care breakfast provision. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the breakfast club, line managing other breakfast club staff to ensure high quality provision of a healthy breakfast and varied activities for pupils to enjoy, in a relaxed and calm environment at the start of the school.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Manage the day to day operation of the breakfast club
- Auditing, ordering and planning resources and food for the club
- Oversee planning a range of suitable activities
- Providing a safe, creative environment
- Providing care for the children including delivering children to school
- Ensuring a healthy and nutritious breakfast is provided for children
- Administering first aid as appropriate
- Close liaison with parents, school and other agencies as appropriate
- Attending meetings as appropriate
- Carrying out all responsibilities within an equal opportunities framework
- Working with agreed policies
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Undertake appropriate training when required
