Derbyshire County Council’s Education Welfare Service is looking to recruit an enthusiastic support worker to be part of our children missing education team. The successful candidate will work directly with carers/parents of children who are without a school place, persuading, empowering and motivating families to engage and overcome barriers to ensure a swift and successful return to learning.
You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, be self-motivated with a willingness to adopt a flexible approach to the work undertaken to meet priorities and deadlines.
The post requires communication with both parents and professional at all levels, working in partnership with external organisations and departments of the County Council to ensure equitable, high quality and efficient service delivery.
Provisional Interview date: week commencing 26 June 2023
