Dronfield Henry Fanshawe School is a successful, oversubscribed school with 1886 students on roll including 361 in the Sixth Form. It is situated close to the centres of Sheffield and Chesterfield on the edge of the Peak District National Park. 

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Transition Lead and Pupil Premium Mentor who can: 

  • work collaboratively with staff within the school, feeder primaries and other schools, to ensure the efficient and successful transition of students into DHFS.
  • foster the progress, achievement and welfare of Pupil Premium students via mentoring and intervention
  • mentor allocated underachieving students as directed by pastoral teams
  • work in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team / Middle Leaders / Teachers / Support Staff / External Agencies / Parents and Carers to deliver the above objectives.
