The South Wolds Academy and Sixth Form is a high attaining, semi-rural, popular school located in the village of Keyworth in Nottinghamshire which is a 10 minute drive from West Bridgford.  We are also a founding partner of the East Midlands Education Trust, committed to providing a first class education for all of our students.

We are seeking to appoint a Lead Cover Supervisor who is dynamic and proactive to work with classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher to ensure that set work is completed.

You will develop good working relationships with staff and students across the academy and develop an understanding of all aspects of the curriculum and pastoral system from ages 11-18.  You will lead a team of cover supervisors and will play a key in role in ensuring that short term teacher absence does not impact negatively on our students.

To apply, please visit the Trust website at www.emet.uk.com/vacancies and complete the online application form.

On the application form, please focus on a detailed 'supporting statement' taking into account the person specification and indicating why you would be the best person for us to recruit to this position.

If you would like further details please e-mail rsprake@southwolds.uk or download an application pack.

Please ensure your completed application is returned no later than 9.00am on the Closing Date.
