South Wolds is a high attaining, semi-rural- popular 11 – 18 school located in the village of Keyworth in Nottinghamshire which is only 6 miles from West Bridgford.  We are also a founding partner of the East Midlands Education Trust, committed to providing a first class education for all of our students.

In this post you will work with classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher to ensure that set work is completed.

You will develop good working relationships with students across the academy and develop an understanding of all aspects of the curriculum and pastoral system from ages 11-18.  You will work as part of a team of cover supervisors and will play a key in role in ensuring that short term teacher absence does not impact negatively on our students.

To apply, please visit the Trust website www.emet.uk.com /vacancies and complete the online application form. On the application form, please focus on a detailed 'supporting statement' taking into account the person specification and indicating why you would be the best person for us to recruit to this position.

If you have any questions or would like an informal discussion about the post please contact Jo Egglenton in the school office by email jegglenton@southwolds.uk or call 0115 937 3506 .

We welcome applications regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion.
