Social Worker Posts x 6 - Children with Disabilities Service

Working as a Social Worker within our Children with Disabilities Service is a rewarding and fulfilling career. You will support some of our most vulnerable children and young people, helping them to achieve positive outcomes and ensuring their voices are heard.

Our work is varied and meaningful, providing support across a range of statutory responsibilities including:

  • Child in Need assessments and planning
  • Child Protection work
  • Looked After Children case management
  • Collaborative working with education, health and partner agencies.

What makes our service unique is the opportunity to develop long-term, relationship-based practice with children and families who may require ongoing support throughout different stages of their lives.

We offer an enhanced pay package to attract and retain skilled social workers:

  • Grade 9 - £38,317 pro rata made up of:

o             Basic salary per annum: £34,317

o             Market supplement payment per annum: £4,000 pro rata

  • Grade 10 - £38,422 - £41,730 pro rata made up of:

o             Basic salary per annum: £35,422 to £38,730 pro rata

o             Market supplement payment per annum: £3,000 pro rata

  • Grade 11 - £41,865 - £45,270 pro rata made up of:

o             Basic salary per annum: £39,865 to £43,270 pro rata

o             Market supplement payment per annum: £2,000 pro rata
