About the Role: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Children in Care team in Chesterfield.
In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals and communities, helping them achieve their potential and safeguarding their health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of need and develop care plans.
- Work collaboratively with individuals, carers, and external partners.
- Manage a designated caseload effectively to achieve the best outcomes.
- Provide leadership and expertise to empower individuals and communities.
- Act as a Duty Officer and support newly qualified social workers.
Requirements:
- BA Honours in Social Work, DipSW, CSS, CQSW.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary work and working with vulnerable individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as required.

- Grade 9 - £37,253 pro rata made up of:
o Basic salary per annum: £33,253
o Market supplement payment per annum: £4,000 pro rata
- Grade 10 - £37,324 - £40,529 pro rata made up of:
o Basic salary per annum: £34,324 to £37,529 pro rata
o Market supplement payment per annum: £3,000 pro rata
- Grade 11 - £40,629- £42,638 pro rata made up of:
o Basic salary per annum: £38,629 to £43,928 pro rata
o Market supplement payment per annum: £2,000 pro rata
