The quality assurance team are looking for a highly motivated individuals to join the team to ensure the council continues to provide high quality services that achieve good outcomes for children, young people and their families living and learning in Derbyshire.
The positions offer no guaranteed hours and the demand for relief quality assurance manager support to the team can fluctuate with requirements across children's services. The specific tasks attributed to relief work includes; reflective practice reviews (audit), complaint investigations, project work, support at periods of high demand, such as inspections and thematic events such as practice learning days and practice week.
As a quality assurance manager you should:
- Be able to effectively embed support and challenge through a range of quality assurance activities for both practitioners and managers
- Continuously drive improvement and ensure both practice and values across a range of children’s services to deliver positive outcomes for children, young people and their families
- Be reflective, persistent and have excellent analytical, planning and influencing skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team of professionals
- Have a relevant professional qualification and have considerable experience of working at a managerial level within a statutory children’s services context
