About The Stronger Families Team:
At the Stronger Families Team, we believe in working together with other professionals to provide meaningful support and interventions to families with children aged between 10 – 17 years who are at risk of coming in to care or we are seeking to reunify to their connected people. Our approach is systemic and trauma-informed, emphasising the importance of building positive relationships and facilitating multi-agency discussions and reflective conversations. We are dedicated to enabling change and helping families realise their potential.
Role Overview:
As a Stronger Families Team member, you will play a pivotal role in supporting families in Derbyshire to achieve good outcomes for their children. Your expertise and knowledge will be crucial in facilitating multi-agency discussions and reflective conversations, while confidently supporting alternatively qualified workers, other agencies, and families to envision and embrace change. This role requires an innovative and collaborative mindset, working within a systemic and trauma-informed approach. You will be directly responsible for supervising cases, leading group supervision and driving the good practice of the team. You will be part of the management structure of the service, reviewing and ensuring that this service meets the needs of our families.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the existing ways of working utilising the FAMILY model, bringing innovation and collaboration to deliver meaningful support and interventions.
- Facilitate multi-agency discussions and reflective conversations, fostering positive relationships with professionals and enabling positive change.
- Provide expert guidance and support to alternatively qualified workers, other agencies, and families, encouraging a shift towards transformative outcomes.
- Embrace a systemic and trauma-informed approach, leveraging your skills to support families in seeing their potential for change.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team and wider organization.
