We are offering a Family Support Worker 37 hours per week within South Derbyshire and Dales Early Help PAFT Team based at The Elms Swadlincote.

The successful applicant will undertake Parenting Assessments of children and families which are shared within the family court. This role will involve working with a range of professionals and utilising observational and analytical skills.

The succuessful candidate willl require a good understanding of children development of early years.   The role include assisting the Early Help Senior Practitioner in the efficient and effective delivery of Children’s Services Early Help Service.   Demonstrating and championing evidence based practice and embedding Derbyshire’s operating model into all early help practice in order to improve outcomes for children, young people and families. Derbyshire County Council is committed to providing Early Help services to the most vulnerable children to prevent risk of harm or breakdown in their family situation.
