Within our Out of Hours team (OOH), our passion is to provide exceptional services that positively impact the lives of children and families throughout Derbyshire. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Social Worker to join our dynamic team.
We are excited to announce new and enhanced payment packages for the following grades which reflects our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent, ensuring our pay is rewarding and competitive:
Grade 9 - £35,038 pro rata made up of:
Basic salary per annum: £30,038
Market supplement payment per annum: £4,000 pro rata
Welcome Payment of £1,000 pro rata
Grade 10 - £38,245 - £39,314 pro rata made up of:
Basic salary per annum: £33,245 - £34,314 pro rata
Market supplement payment per annum: £3,000 pro rata
Welcome Payment of £2,000 pro rata
Grade 11 - £41,514 - £43,713 pro rata made up of:
Basic salary per annum: £36,514 - £38,713 pro rata
Market supplement payment per annum: £2,000 pro rata
Welcome Payment of £3,000 pro rata
As an Out of Hours Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to assess requests for intervention and determine the appropriate support needed for vulnerable children and families. This fast-paced role requires confident decision-making skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality social work services that empower individuals and communities to realize their potential.
Efficiently manage a caseload to ensure optimal outcomes for individuals, groups, and communities.
Foster partnerships and maintain strong relationships with individuals, identifying their needs and developing appropriate plans and responses.
Requirements:
BA Honours in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England (refer to job and person profile for detailed information).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a person-centred approach to building rapport and relationships with children and families.
Reflective practice and development capabilities, enabling flexible and thoughtful social work interventions.
These roles also attract a market supplement. This is a separate payment made in addition to the normal salary as detailed below. All market supplement payments are reviewed 6 months prior to their proposed end date to determine whether the supplement should continue.
