Chesterfield Parenting Assessment and Family Time Team (PAFTT) have an vacancy within their team for 1 fixed term Assistant Early Help Practitioner. The PAFTT is a fast paced team of 10 workers, which continues to evolve, providing supervised time between children and their birth parents/carers. 

A knowledge of safeguarding children is essential. Individuals will need to be dynamic, creative, caring and understand the importance of Life Story work with our children. Full induction, training and regular supervision are provided.

The Assistant Early Help Practitioner is a key role in the Early Help team, you will work closely with our Social Care team and a wide range of partners including foster carers, education, health and legal representatives.

Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
