An Exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning Derbyshire County Catering service,

Are you passionate about food and enjoy working as part of a team? We are currently recruiting for a catering assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team.

You will be supporting the catering supervisor in all areas of the service at Bakewell Juniors. This will involve working at a production units and at a servery unit. Possible tasks involve food preparation, cooking, portion control, allergen compliance and preparing the dining room for service.

Our Catering assistants are our point of contact with our hungry customers. Whilst serving meals to our customers all team members help ensure that food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed. We want to help make good lunchtime memories for our customers so it is essential that you can demonstrate an attitude which is appropriate to the school environment. 

Successful completion of the NVQ food Hygiene Certificate with be required upon appointment.
