An exciting opportunity has arisen to join award-winning Derbyshire catering service. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Catering professional to manage and support the catering team at Saint Benedict Catholic Voluntary Academy, Derby.

As a Caterer you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Derbyshire catering service at Saint Benedict Catholic Voluntary Academy.

This includes the management supervision and support of the kitchen team which may extend to covering absences within units, providing training, and assisting in the completion of clerical duties.

Our Caterers are knowledgeable in all areas of the kitchen and possesses excellent communication skills both in person and over digital communications such as email. This is essential as Caterers are point of contact with hungry customers, the headteachers and parents.

Qualifications and requirements due to the nature of the role a full driving licence and daily access to a car is essential. Some flexibility may be required within Derbyshire.

As a caterer you would ideally hold the NVQ level III in catering and hospitality all have relevant experience with a sound knowledge of health and safety and possess a basic food hygiene certificate level 3.
