South Derbyshire District Council are looking to recruit an individual to join the caretaking team involved with looking after our Midway Community Centre and our other community buildings at Swadlincote and Stenson Fields that we currently hire out to the general public. Based at Midway Community Centre, you will be part of our Corporate Building Services Team and work closely with our facility Supervisor and our Parks and Green Spaces Team.

This post is contracted at 16 hours flexible over 7 days covering the centre around bookings. With all overtime additionally paid.

The team of caretakers need to be flexible to cover each other for sickness and annual leave. You must be able to drive and own your own vehicle due to location of all three Centre’s. Covering at the other centre’s comes with a relevant payable mileage.
