Alfreton Park is a lively, successful special school for pupils aged 2 to 19 years, with severe and profound learning difficulties. The school has a strong commitment to child safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to respect this commitment.
We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, well organised and enthusiastic Relief Site Manager to take a proactive role in facilitating the schools out of hours hires timetable. The role will involve liaising with hirers, setting up resources and ensuring the security of the school site as well as deputising for our Site and Premises Manager when required.
This is an exciting and challenging role, offering the right candidate the opportunity to use and enhance their skills in a friendly and supportive school.
The ability to be flexible and adaptable is essential, as are excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a sound knowledge of IT and the ability to work under pressure. You will be professional, friendly, approachable and confident liaising with staff, hirers and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will be proactive in their approach and able to use their initiative when required.
Hours will be scheduled in advance and will vary dependant on the hire timetable.
Core hire times:
Monday to Friday: 16:30 - 20:30
Saturday and Sunday: 8:30 - 16:00
Please note, there may be occasions when the postholder will be asked to deputise for the Site and Premises Manager.
