Wirksworth Junior School are looking to appoint a friendly, proficient Caretaker. The role is for 10 hours a week, 7am-9am, with an additional 5 hours overtime to carry out DIY on an ad-hoc basis throughout the school week.
The successful person will need to work independently, opening the school in the mornings and carrying out daily checks on the school site to ensure it is safe for the children to enter.
You will have a positive attitude, be committed to promoting our school and being part of the wider school by enriching the opportunities for the children. This role will be working alongside the cleaners and after-school caretaker in school, so communication with others is essential.
