The Governors of Corfield CofE Infant School wish to appoint a Caretaker who will be responsible for providing effective and efficient cleaning, caretaking, maintenance and DIY service for our school site. The successful candidate will be friendly, reliable, an excellent communicator and have a keen eye for attention to detail.
A calm, friendly and positive attitude is essential.
The post is for 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a split shift basis (hours to be discussed at interview). There will be an expectation to split the hours across the early morning and late afternoon/early evening.
The successful candidate will also be required to open up and unlock the school and then lock up the school after hours alongside the duties outlined in the job description.
The successful candidate does not necessarily need previous experience, but will be expected to demonstrate an eagerness to learn and adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and policies.
