New Mills School is a medium sized 11-16 secondary school based in the High Peak close to the Peak District National Park, yet within easy reach of the centres of Stockport and Manchester.

We wish to appoint a willing and enthusiastic Caretaker who will be committed to undertaking a variety of cleaning, security, janitorial and DIY duties. 

The working pattern would be 7:00am-3:00pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00am-2:30pm Friday, alternating weekly with 10:00am-6.00pm Monday to Thursday, 10:30am-6:00pm Friday.

There may also be occasions where out of hours attendance will be required, e.g. for emergency callouts or to secure the site after school events. Additional remuneration is made for this.
