Lea Green Centre, Derbyshire’s flagship outdoor centre, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and performance driven people manager to join our team.
You will manage a busy team of catering staff to ensure that the provision of catering and domestic support services, including for private functions, are efficient, effective and of high quality.
The role involves regular liaison with schools, departments across the council and external organisations.
You will already be an experienced team leader, used to working in a busy environment, with a proven ability to ensure the provision of a catering service that meets client’s specifications and quality standards as well as having experience in providing advice and guidance on the organisation of accommodation and planning of menus. You will also have a passion for customer service excellence and service delivery.
The ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends in order to meet the needs of the service is vital to the role.

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.
Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
