Amber Valley Borough Council are currently recruiting for a part-time Domestic Operative generally based at their Central Headquarters Offices in Ripley, Derbyshire, although there may be need to clean/service other buildings within the borough as required.

The successful applicant will be located within the Buildings and Open Spaces Business Unit, and duties include providing a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene to the Council's Central Headquarters complex. On occasions there may be a requirement to work at alternative sites across the Amber Valley Borough area.

The working hours are 11 hours and 15 minutes per week, with the typical shift being Monday to Thursday from 5.00pm to 7.15pm and Friday 4.30pm to 6.45pm.

This working pattern may need to be reviewed dependent upon service demands and a reasonable amount of notice will be given if the working pattern has to be altered.
