We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our residents. Whether you have previous experience or are just starting out in the care sector, we welcome you to attend our event.

Our Recruitment Open Day will be held at Ada Belfield Care Centre on Friday 21st April between 10.00am and 5.00pm, where you'll have the opportunity to learn more about our council and the services we provide, as well as meet our friendly staff and explore our beautiful care centre.

You'll have the chance to learn about the various job roles available and find out what it's like to work with us. We offer a range of full and part-time opportunities including the ones below:

  • Care worker
  • Domestic
  • Senior care worker
  • Peripatetic catering supervisor,

There will also be an opportunity for attendees to have an on-the-day interview if they wish to do so, alternatively, an application form can be taken away and completed at a later date.

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.

Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
