Derbyshire County Council Adult Social Care and Health are seeking to recruit a professionally qualified and fully HCPC registered Occupational Therapists.

As part of our Adult Care Team in South Derbyshire you will be required to take an integrated and strength-based approach to deliver a proportionate, personalised, safe and sustainable response for local adults, their carer’s and families.

Your role will include assessment of functional skills and to contribute to the delivery of housing related and care support including, equipment, manual handling plans, as well major adaptations were appropriate.

A positive approach to risk taking, and the ability to contribute to inter agency and multi-disciplinary approaches both across the council and in other statutory bodies are key to this role. A person Centred and Strengths based approach is essential to ensure the best outcomes for people their best life 

Occupational Therapists will be recruited at Grade 9 or 11 depending on knowledge, skills and experience demonstrated in the recruitment process.

This post is based in South Derbyshire and is part of small team of Occupational Therapists covering the South Derbyshire Area. You will be supported by dedicated senior practitioner Occupational Therapists with regular clinical supervision.
