Derbyshire County Council Adult Social Care and Health are seeking to recruit 12 professionally qualified and HCPC registered Occupational Therapists on a range of full and part time contracts including fixed and permanent posts across various areas in Derbyshire. These areas include Chesterfield, North East Derbyshire, Bolsover, Amber Valley, South Derbyshire and Matlock.
As part of our generic Adult Care Team you will be required to take an integrated and strength based approach in order to deliver a proportionate, personalised, safe and sustainable response for local adults, their carer’s and families. Your role will include assessment and delivery of housing related support including major adaptations and complex equipment. A positive approach to risk taking, and the ability to contribute to inter agency and multi-disciplinary approaches both across the council and in other statutory bodies are key to this role.
Occupational Therapists will be recruited at Grade 9 or 11 depending on knowledge, skills and experience demonstrated in the recruitment process. Secondments will also be considered.
