We want to introduce this brand new role that has been created to support both the residential and community services as a Flexible Relief Care Worker.  This role is designed to support emergency cover around the area that you reside or are prepared to travel to, so it is crucial that you can work flexibly and travel to a variety of locations

In this role you will be working as part of a valued relief care team where you will ensure adults in care homes and in the community remain happy, healthy and well by helping them with everyday tasks such as washing, dressing, eating meals, taking medication and socialising.

If you are someone who has a caring personality and a desire to care for others and an ambition to promote choice and encourage adults to gain their independence, then we are keen to hear from you!

You don’t need to have previous experience of care work or qualifications as we offer structured training to ensure our care workers receive what they need to flourish and progress in their role.

Please note that colleagues within the flexible resource pool may be deployed to deliver home care and care within residential and day services. The older people and learning disability residential  and day centres services are currently subject to consultation which may result in changes being made to these in the future’

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.

Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
