We are recruiting for a care worker to assist our residents to lead dignified lives. Working as part of a valued team, ensuring that the residents are happy, healthy assisting with daily tasks including washing and dressing/ personal care, assisting with meals, medication, life skills and socialising.
Understanding the needs of older people; including Dementia would be desirable.

Experience is desirable but not essential as full training is given.
Working hours are based on a 3 shift pattern and this may include unsociable hours and bank holidays. Enhanced payments paid between the hours of 7pm-7am. 5 weeks holiday annually and this will increase after 5 years to 6 weeks holiday.
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.
Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
