Job Title: Lifeguard / Leisure Attendant
Salary/Grade: Grade 3, £12.71 to £13.04 per hour pro-rata
Hours/Days: 37 hours per week

Job Description: Bolsover District Council is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard / Leisure Attendant to assist in the operation of sports, leisure, and recreational establishments throughout the Bolsover District. This role ensures the efficient, effective, and economic operation of activities, including duties in wet, dry, and other operational areas.

Active leisure facility caters to a wide range of ages and abilities and is fully accessible, featuring two swimming pools, a flume, gym facilities, a thermal suite, group exercise studios, group cycling studio, a sports hall, outdoor pitches, and a café.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control, organization, and implementation of Leisure Services work
- Management of assets, resources, systems, and methods of work
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of the leisure industry
- Knowledge of customer computerized booking systems
- Understanding of leisure facilities and equipment, including Health and Safety awareness
- RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Award
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
