The HR and Payroll Team is seeking to recruit a temporary Payroll Officer to cover maternity leave. This is an opportunity to gain new payroll experience, undertaking a varied and interesting workload to assist with increased demands on the service.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working on a variety of activities in a fast-paced environment and has a can-do approach. You will need an interest in supporting business operations, systems and working with a wide range of people. Strong administration and organisational skills are essential as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to build good working relationships. Due to the nature of the service, you will need to be aware of the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
To be successful you will need:
- Experience of working in a payroll department.
- A detailed knowledge of current HMRC legislation surrounding pay.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
