We’re delighted to be recruiting an apprentice to join Exchequer Financial Services, as an Apprentice Finance Assistant, completing a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship.

Exchequer Financial Services process and control the Council's main income and expenditure streams. The successful apprentices will have the opportunity to gain experience in one of the many areas within Exchequer Services including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Master Data, Central Purchasing Support Team and Early Years Contract, Compliance and Payments. The Apprenticeships are designed to give you a wide understanding of the key duties and functions of specific service areas which will be assigned following the recruitment process.
Throughout your journey we will teach you to understand and adhere to policies, practices, legislation that govern how our department operates.

Applicants must be able to work full time and have 5 GCSE’s at grade A* to C/9-4 or equivalent including Maths and English.
