Are you looking for a new challenge? We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the Lea Green team as an Catering Apprenticeship with Derbyshire County Council.
You will be working as part of a team in a busy kitchen, assisting with the preparation, cooking and service of a variety of meals, together with associated washing up and cleaning duties.
It is essential that you can demonstrate a flexible attitude to work, have knowledge of the principles of food hygiene and service and have good interpersonal skills.
You will work with an experienced team and receive ongoing support and mentoring for the duration of the apprenticeship from our team and our apprenticeship training provider.
Please note that if you already have significant work experience within a catering role and/or hold a catering qualification at level 2 or higher then you may not be eligible for the apprenticeship. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a skills scan prior to being invited to interview to determine whether they meet the apprenticeship criteria.
After successfully completing the apprenticeship you’ll be in a great position to apply for any suitable vacancies within the Lea Green team.
Any necessary qualifications or training will be provided by Lea Green.

Annual leave entitlement is based on the grade of role you are appointed to.
