We have an exciting Apprenticeship opportunity at Derbyshire Dales District Council. This Apprenticeship is for two years.
- The Apprenticeship will be based within the Place and Economy Department where you will help Town Planners to look after the local environment and assist the Teams who licence outdoor events and carry out food inspections. You will also help to support local businesses and town centres.
- There is a wide range of experiences on offer to you with guidance and supervision along the way to ensure that you comfortably settle into this friendly, helpful, and efficient Council service.
- The overall aim of the Apprenticeship Programme is to teach you about the services delivered by the District Council, whilst developing your knowledge and skills through practical and hands on experiences.
- You will be given the opportunity to receive Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship training, resulting in an excellent qualification.
- At the end of the 2-year programme, you will be fully employment-ready, and we will give you help and encouragement to apply for available permanent jobs within the District Council should any be available.
