Two exciting opportunities have arisen within the Business Services Team for committed and flexible individuals to provide efficient and effective administrative support. We have a centralised support function to deliver efficient, consistent processes and collaborative working across the council.

Post 1: Established

Post 2: Fixed term to April 27, to cover maternity leave

 The Team Coordinator acts as a consistent point of contact for social workers, practice supervisors, team managers, along with partner agencies. Duties include:

  • providing direct support to social workers.
  • processing incoming work via Mosaic, email, phone, Teams and in person.
  • Preparing, coordinating and taking minutes for critical safeguarding meetings (Strategy, Public Law Outline, Supervision Reviews, Preparing for Permanence Outside of Care).
  • Ensuring children in care receive initial health and review assessments, dentals and immunisations to comply with statutory duties, having oversight, coordination and supporting the social workers.

 This is a fast-paced, varied role where you’ll need strong organisational skills, adaptability, and the ability to meet deadlines in a changing environment. If you’re a team player with a can-do attitude and enjoy finding solutions, we’d like to hear from you.

 The posts are hybrid.

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Excellent IT skills (including Microsoft 365 suite) and confidence learning new systems
  • Clear communication skills – written and verbal
