Kirk Ireton C of E Primary School is a caring and nurturing family at the heart of its village community.
We are looking to appoint a positive and friendly Senior Business Assistant to join our school, which is part of The Village Federation. Whilst the main location will be Kirk Ireton C of E Primary School, all our senior business assistants occasionally provide support for each other in our schools in Brassington, Carsington and Fenny Bentley. The current contract offers 30 hours per week for 52 weeks, although a term time only contract, or job share would be considered for the right candidate, and total hours may flux with pupil numbers in future years.
The right candidate needs to be cheerful and very organised, as well as able to multi-task and continually re-prioritise their workload. As the “face of the school” they need to be confident in building strong relationships with parents, staff, governors, the village community, and, most importantly, the children.
Confident IT skills will be essential to learn the school information systems, for which training will be given. Experience in a similar role is preferred and training will be provided in school specific systems.
The Village Federation believes in providing a secure and caring atmosphere for families, staff, governors, our neighbours and most of all, the children in our care. Kirk Ireton is a forward looking school that builds on strong traditions, and we are looking for a new Senior Business Assistant to join our strong supportive team.
The Village Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils.
Informal discussions and visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the Federation Business Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange an appointment to visit or to discuss the post.
