This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated School Business Manager to join our caring and friendly Infant and Nursery School, situated in the village of Creswell. You will find that Creswell Infant and Nursery School, with 192 pupils on roll and 63 children in our Nursery, is a welcoming place where we pride ourselves on being inclusive. We are looking for Business Manager who is committed to making a positive and meaningful difference to the lives of our children and their families, ensuring every child can thrive and succeed.

We are looking for an individual who priorities relationships and maintains exceptional standards of business ethic. The successful candidate will join our team at an exciting time, actively contributing to supporting the headteacher as the school embarks on a new chapter of change. As a friendly and caring school, we are looking for an individual who can embrace our school’s vision and be committed to ensuring the best outcomes for our children. The role is diverse, and we are looking for a proactive, reflective and dedicated individual to promote our values and ethos and this will be important criterion for appointment. 

We are looking for someone who can work both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate should be able to manage their responsibilities autonomously while also communicating effectively with our Business Admin Assistant and other staff members within the school. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Demonstrates exceptional organisational skills and can communicate effectively with others. 
  • Is enthusiastic, solution-focused and can deliver a forward-thinking approach.
  • Has proven experience in a financial role, with the ability to manage and organise administrative and financial systems.
  • Can effectively prioritise their time to be both proactive and reactive to the needs of the school, while also reviewing and refining processes to move the school forward.
