We are looking for a professional, efficient and friendly individual who is well-organised, motivated and can use their initiative and adapt to a variety of different situations. Our busy school office is the hub of our school and so it is vital that you have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines and observe confidentiality requirements.

The Business Assistant will need to have a working knowledge and proven experience of using management systems including Arbor and SAP (Fiori) financial system to carry out the day to day financial management of the school including banking, payroll, data entry and analysis, handling monies, invoice processing, stock checks, updating the school website and dealing with a range of visitors and telephone enquiries.

As Clerk to Governors, the successful candidate will be accountable to the Governing Body, working effectively with the Chair and Headteacher to secure the continuity of Governing Body business as well as organise Governors’ meetings; including the circulation of agendas and other papers, taking clear notes of meetings and maintaining the necessary records. This will involve some work in the evenings, as the meetings are after school. You will also be responsible for advising the Governing Body on Constitutional matters, duties and powers and will work within the broad current legislative framework.
Applicants must have proven Literacy and Numeracy skills with GCSE (or equivalent) Grade A-C (9-4) and be highly proficient in using a range of IT systems and packages.

You should be able to work efficiently, with attention to detail and show a willingness to adopt a flexible approach to the work undertaken.
