As School Business Assistant / Senior , you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the school office, providing administrative support to the Federation Business Manager and school staff. You will be the first point of contact for our families and help ensure that our school continues to meet the needs of our pupils and their families.
We are seeking a ‘people person’ who likes interaction with others but who can equally work independently and manage a very busy work schedule which will include:
- Providing professional administration of school funds and budgets
- Provide effective and proactive administrative support to the Governing Board and its committees
- Managing the school systems linked to student records, finance, HR and premises
- Understand and abide by the confidential nature of the role
Most importantly, we are looking for a team player with a great sense of humour, a ‘can do attitude’ and a big warm coat! It goes without saying that you must enjoy working with children. Full training and support will be given for the successful applicant and this post would suit someone with business administration experience wishing to move into or experienced in school business management. In return, you will find a welcoming and inclusive team to work with, in a job which you can truly make your own and a view to enjoy!
If you would like further information, please don’t hesitate to make an informal enquiry to the headteacher via headteacher@bamford.derbyshire.sch.uk - Visits to the school are welcome by appointment.
Bamford Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
