We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective administrator with the necessary skills to support the Governing Body to the post of Clerk to the Governors.
Within their role the clerk will be required to:
- Provide advice to the governing body on governance, constitutional and procedural matters.
- Provide effective administrative support to the governing body and its committees.
- Ensure the governing body is properly constituted.
- Manage information effectively in accordance with legal requirements.
A willingness to work flexibly is required as the workload is variable and the postholder would need to attend evening meetings.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and expects all staff to share this commitment. Online checks on shortlisted candidates may form part of the schools safeguarding due diligence, this would include a search of social media and search engine presence.
Visits from potential applicants are welcomed by arrangement. Please contact the Headteacher, Jenny Murphy on 01246 276831 if you wish to discuss the post.
Provisional Interview Date: 18 November 2024.
