Management Information Officer – Data Management (Integris helpdesk), a part of Children’s Digital & Data Services

Grade 10 - Permanent Post FTE 0.8 (4 full days a week / or 29.6hrs pw spread across 5 days pw).  Flexible working – Work from home and County Hall, Matlock.

The Data Management Team are part of The Education Data Hub which is made up of three teams: Data Management, Data Protection and Data Security and our vision is to help Derbyshire schools achieve data excellence.

We are an established and well-respected traded service who take pride on the service we deliver to Schools and Academies as well as contributing to the continuous improvement of our service offerings.

The job profile is a very generic one, in support of the varied work our respective teams may be asked to perform.  This specific role will see you contributing to supporting schools and academies, who purchase Integris MIS, via the phone and email helpdesk, designing and delivering Integris training, creating Integris guidance documents and The Snippet, our regular newsletter.  We will be reviewing the procurement process again as we head towards the end of the Integris contact and may support other management information systems in the future.  For further details, please see the attached job specification.

Our services consistently receive excellent feedback from our customers, a large part of which is due to our knowledge and understanding of how schools work and the challenges they face. Experience of the practical considerations of working in an education setting is therefore beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have a thirst for knowledge and a desire to continuously strive for excellence. We are a customer focussed traded service and candidates need to bring an enthusiasm for proactive problem solving so that we can continue to delight our customers.

You may be asked to manage small projects and possibly to take ownership of discrete elements of a service, you will therefore need to be highly focussed and organised.

The selection process will include you giving an 8-to-10-minute training presentation over Teams on a subject of your choice followed by a formal interview.
