An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Services Team for a committed and flexible individual to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the education improvement service.
You will be joining a friendly team of experienced Business Services Assistants. The role is varied, fast-paced and the ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines is essential.
What will I be doing:
- Answering and responding to enquiries from schools regarding traded services and training enquiries.
- Liaising with consultants to plan, and deliver training sessions to schools, including the marketing off these via S4S, newsletters and correspondence.
- Organising meetings and coordinating events, ensuring colleagues have all resources required, including room hire.
- Taking minutes of meetings, including service minutes, governor minutes.
- Updating and maintaining excel spreadsheets and data sets.
- Responsibility for monitoring several shared inboxes, specifically the EIS traded inbox and governor support inbox
- Attendance and support at training events to assist presenters, via MS TEAMS and in person.
- Support traded work, including use of S4S, communicating with trainers and delegates, updating course packs, marking registers, evaluations and sending certificates.
- Communicating with trainers, schools and finance regarding bespoke training enquiries.
- Assistance with planning the governor termly training programme.
- To support when required with the governor support work, including updating school governor database (GATs) and governor support inbox.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- Excellent IT skills, which includes the use of Microsoft packages.
- An ability to work as part of a team undertaking a wide range of administrative duties.
- Experience of working in a busy office environment.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
- Good organisational
- An ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
- An ability to interpret information and analyse data.
- An ability to work within organisational policies and procedures.
- An understanding of confidentiality, GDPR and Data Protection.
- NVQ Level 2 qualification or relevant office experience.
- Enthusiasm and transferable skills
- Minute/note taking experience
- Previous financial experience would be beneficial
