As Office Manager, you’ll work closely with the Headteacher, governing body, and trust board to provide exceptional administrative and financial support.
You’ll lead the office team and alongside the CFO, oversee school finances and ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and compliance.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the school office team to ensure excellent administrative support.
- Oversee the school’s financial processes, including budgeting, invoicing, and contracts.
- Act as the first point of contact for parents and visitors, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
- Manage personnel records, recruitment processes, and staff HR administration.
- Maintain compliance with safeguarding, data protection, and health and safety standards.
- Support school events, trips, and assessments to enhance the pupil experience.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident in managing financial processes and office systems.
- An effective communicator who can build positive relationships with staff, parents and external partners.
- Experienced in school administration or a similar environment (desirable but not essential).
