PLEASE INDICATE CLEARLY WHICH POST/POSTS YOU ARE APPLING FOR IN THE EXPERIENCE SECTION OF YOUR APPLICATION.

Peak District National Park is the original UK National Park, a world class landscape designated to conserve the natural beauty and special qualities for the enjoyment of all.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Peak District National Park Outreach Team, to help connect people to the park and create experiences that inspire and move.

The team delivers a wide range of Outreach programmes including school visits, community projects and volunteering opportunities. We are looking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated practitioner whose particular focus will be given to the development and delivery of learning programmes and day to day management and running of the learning programmes within the relevant geographical ‘hub’.

We are recruiting for 1 full time and 1 part time (0.4 FTE) Learning Ranger to deliver the programme in two geographical ‘hubs’ within the Peak District National Park and reaching out to the surrounding urban communities: one based at Longdendale Environmental Centre covering the northern park (Longdendale Valley, Dovestones and Langsett) and a part time position working within the Hope and Edale Valley, and Upper Derwent.

This is a new team, we are, therefore, seeking exceptional and pioneering people to take this venture forward, building on success of the existing schools programmes.

All posts will work closely with the Outreach Rangers and the wider Commercial Development and Outreach Team, including Marketing, Access and Rights of Way, Estates and Visitor Centre teams within their geographical hubs.
