Peak District National Park is the original UK National Park, a world class landscape designated to conserve the natural beauty and special qualities for the enjoyment of all.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Peak District National Park Outreach Team, to help connect people to the park and create experiences that inspire and move.

We are looking to recruit three new Outreach Rangers (1 Full Time post based in the Hope/Edale Valley, 1 Full Time post based at Langsett and a 0.5 (FTE) post operating at Dovestone). All posts will work closely with the Learning & Discovery Rangers and the wider Commercial Development and Outreach Team, including Marketing, Access and Rights of Way, Estates and Visitor Centre teams within their geographical hubs.

These are exciting new posts that will see a focus on engaging with a variety of audiences both within the National Park and reaching out to the surrounding urban communities.  Outreach Rangers will act as the eyes and ears of the National Park, creating close links with communities and partners.

Two of the posts will work in partnership with water companies, Yorkshire Water at Langsett and United Utilities at Dovestone.

This is an excellent career opportunity in an outstanding environment where outreach has a high profile. We are seeking someone with a positive and engaged approach.
