One day you might be organising a business networking event, the next researching funding opportunities, supporting a grant-funded project or producing information for local businesses.&amp;nbsp; Working alongside businesses, community groups, event organisers and strategic partners, you'll help deliver initiatives that showcase everything North East Derbyshire has to offer.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What you'll be doing&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Organising and supporting business networking events, workshops and meetings.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Managing and maintaining our customer relationship management (CRM) system and business records.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Supporting local businesses by signposting funding, advice and development opportunities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Producing and coordinating our regular Business First e-bulletin.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Undertaking research to support funding applications and economic development projects.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Supporting project management, monitoring and reporting activities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Maintaining accurate records and helping ensure external funding requirements are met.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Producing reports, spreadsheets, correspondence and other documentation.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We&amp;rsquo;re looking for someone with:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Experience of developing or maintaining effective administrative systems and processes.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Good written communication skills and the ability to produce clear reports and business communications.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to engage with businesses, partners and colleagues.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Good numerical skills and attention to detail.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The ability to work independently whilst also contributing positively to a team.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Taking a flexible, and pro-active approach to your workload is essential together with the ability to learn quickly on-the-job. Interpersonal skills are just as important as technical and problem-solving skills. The post holder will be required to work efficiently as a member of a busy Service Desk team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will be given the opportunity to access training courses and gain industry recognised certifications from CompTIA and Microsoft. Time will be provided off-the-job to progress training and sit exams. Day-to-day mentoring, guidance, and on-the-job learning will be provided. &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Qualifications&lt;/strong&gt;: Vehicle mechanic experience and relevant maintenance qualifications.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Licensing&lt;/strong&gt;: Minimum Category B driving licence, with a willingness to obtain Category C and Driver CPC.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Experience&lt;/strong&gt;: Maintenance of municipal refuse collection vehicles, street cleansing vehicles, and industrial grounds maintenance plant is a plus, but not required.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pay:&lt;/strong&gt; &amp;pound;26,824 to &amp;pound;36,363 p.a. (Grade 6 to 9) plus tool allowance (pay award pending)&lt;/p&gt;
