Post:  Casual Gym Instructor

Salary/Grade: £13.47 to £13.90 per hour / Grade 5 £25,989 to £26,824 pro rata

Contract Type: Casual

Hours: As and when required

Primary Location: Eckington Active, Gosber Street, Eckington, S21 4DA / Killamarsh Active, Stanley Street, Sheffield, S21 1EL/ Dronfield Active, Civic Centre, Dronfield, S18 1PD and Clay Cross Active, Market Street, Clay Cross, Chesterfield, S45 9LX.

Job Details and Requirements

Candidates must have a good understanding of a wide range of sports/activities and hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification. Formal fitness class instructor qualifications e.g. ETM, together with experience of delivering fitness classes would be an advantage.

To be successful you will need:

• Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification
• Knowledge of safe methods of exercise and current training methods.
• Excellent customer service skills

The successful candidates will be subject to a Disclosure carried out by the DBS at the Enhanced Level.
