An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced leader to join our Safeguarding Quality Assurance Team on a permanent basis.  We are looking for a Group Manager to lead our quality assurance work across Derbyshire ensuring that Derbyshire residents receive high quality support from Adult Social Care. 

If you are passionate about leading continuous improvement in Adult Social Care then this may be the job for you.  You will be responsible for leading a small quality assurance team which supports continuous improvement in the delivery of our Safeguarding Adults duties across Derbyshire.  Excellent leadership, influencing & partnership working skills are essential as you will necessarily work closely with partners, internal teams and colleagues employed across the whole department in order to improve the quality of service delivery. 

Strong analytical skills, the ability to use data effectively to understand local performance & significant relevant experience in social care or health are all required as is the ability to develop & deliver effective quality improvement plans.  You will have a key role in a number of different partnership Boards, including Derbyshire’s Safeguarding Adults Board and will also contribute to regional Safeguarding quality assurance work and will be asked to deputise on behalf of the Assistant Director for Quality Assurance, Safeguarding & Performance when required.
