Job Details and Requirements
North East Derbyshire District Council is proud of providing excellent Leisure Centres to our customers and the Café facilities are a friendly, inviting and popular service within our Centres.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual for our Coffee and Snack Bar situated at Dronfield Active. The successful candidate will look after the Coffee and Snack Bar from serving customers, maintaining high levels of cleanliness & hygiene, stock control & giving the customer a great experience.
To be successful you will need:
- To hold the Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering Certificate (Not necessary at application stage but must be obtained prior to appointment)
- The ability to deal with a full age range of customers.
- Have a good understanding of the catering industry.
The successful candidates will be subject to a Disclosure carried out by the DBS at the Basic Level.
The post is normally based at Dronfield Active but the successful candidate must be willing to work at any of the council’s establishments should the need arise.
