Derbyshire County Council have an exceptional opportunity for a Business Services Assistant to join its Procurement & Contract Compliance team.

This role is well suited to a highly motivated positive individual who seeks a real opportunity to make a difference and drive improvements into commercial practices across the whole organisation. 

Reporting to a Senior Procurement & Contract Compliance Officer, the role will be part of team who are responsible for ensuring procurement and contract management compliance throughout the organisation, providing procurement and contract management best practice advice and training where required.

The ideal candidate would have experience of working as part of a team, undertaking varied administrative duties, preferably within a procurement/contract management area.

This role is ideal for someone who wishes to pursue a professional career within a procurement field.  We will invest in your future by providing training and genuine career progression opportunities within County Procurement.
